The Populist Politics of Foreign Policy

Abstract

This project examines the impact of new political cleavages, and especially the rising influence of populist radical right parties, on foreign policy debates and decision making processes in France, Germany and Britain. The research is based on qualitative analysis of political discourse, and in-depth interviews conducted with politicians and others.
